PDX Bookfest Poster.jpeg

For the last five years, Literary Arts has put on the Portland Book Festival (formerly Wordstock) the first weekend of November. In 2019, they wanted to move the branding forward and try to make it more welcoming and to start trying to pull away from the colder, more corporate look. They enlisted me to help by creating illustrations that would be used for the national marketing campaign. This included a poster, the program, billboards and ads on Trimet buses around Portland, and even an advertisement in the New York Times.

The trick was creating an image that was modular and could be used in various print and web advertisements. I also did additional illustrations for inside the program.
